Maureen Quinn is the Chair of the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission, having been appointed by Governor Wes Moore in 2023. She served as a Workers’ Compensation Commissioner from 2002 until her elevation to Chair. Her accomplishments as Chair include enhanced courthouse security, deployment of a new computer system, revamping of the unit that penalizes businesses who fail to carry workers’ compensation insurance on their employees and correcting the discriminatory pay policies of the state related to internal promotions.
