Judge Carlson was appointed to the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals in 2023. Prior to her appointment, she worked in private practice for 30 years exclusively in workers’ compensation, representing injured workers as well as employers and insurers throughout Minnesota. She received her JD, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1993. She enjoys time with family and friends, cycling, Scrabble and is learning to enjoy golf.
